Privacy Policy
This page explains what information Schelp collects on this website, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We're keeping it short and plain on purpose — if anything's unclear, write to hello@schelp.app.
1. Who we are
"Schelp" refers to the company building the Schelp app and operating schelp.app. For privacy questions you can reach the data controller at hello@schelp.app.
2. What we collect on this page
Only two things, and only when you give them to us:
- Your email address, if you submit the early-access form. Stored with our email-service provider for the sole purpose of letting you know when Schelp is ready.
- Anonymous analytics, if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. We use a privacy-friendly analytics provider that does not set tracking cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not sell anything. If you click "Decline" or don't respond, no analytics are loaded.
3. What we do not collect
- No advertising cookies.
- No third-party trackers.
- No data resale or sharing with marketing partners.
- No profiling of individual visitors.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
For the early-access list: your consent, given when you submit the form. For analytics: your consent, given via the cookie banner. You can withdraw either at any time — unsubscribe via the link in any email we send you, or clear the consent stored in your browser by visiting this page again with cookies cleared.
5. How long we keep things
- Early-access emails: until Schelp launches and we've sent your invite, plus 30 days. After that they are deleted unless you've opted in to product news.
- Analytics: aggregate, anonymous, retained for up to 24 months.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, email hello@schelp.app with your request and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
7. Children
Schelp is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has submitted data, please write to us and we'll delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and — if you're already on the early-access list — drop you an email so you can re-consent or unsubscribe.
This is a plain-English summary. If you operate from outside the EU/EEA, additional local laws (CCPA, UK GDPR, etc.) may give you equivalent or further rights — we honor them on request.
